Around 50,000 Norwegians depend on helicopters to get to and from work. From five heliports across the country, roughly 150 flights depart daily to and from offshore oil and gas installations. Both the workers themselves and family and friends back on land need to know whether flights are on schedule and if the weather is good enough to fly. Existing solutions were poorly suited for mobile use and had an outdated UX and UI. Heliport is the first app in Norway to give users a complete overview of flights, along with live weather data, installation details, and more.
